Grand River Accessibility Advisory Committee (GRAAC)
Become Involved! Help improve accessibility for people with disabilities to municipal programs and services in your community!
Now recruiting up to 5 volunteers for the Grand River Accessibility Advisory Committee (GRAAC), each to fill a 3 year term beginning January, 2010. Members of GRAAC provide input and advice into accessibility planning for the six municipalities of the Cities of Kitchener and Waterloo, the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley and Woolwich and the Region of Waterloo. Further information about the ODA is available at www.gov.on.ca/citizenship/accessibility. The GRAAC will fulfill the purpose of the ODA for participating municipal Councils in our community by providing vision and direction towards the removal of barriers.
