Kitchener Utilities

The Business Development Section provides rental gas water heaters, natural gas appliance financing programs, automatic meter reading and natural gas appliance service programs. Kitchener Utilities also facilitates customers' requests to exercise their gas supply options under deregulation. City of Kitchener employees experienced in the natural gas industry manage natural gas supply, transportation and delivery services.

The Elmsdale Operations Centre is responsible for construction, operation and support services of the water and natural gas distribution systems; gas main and service installations and design; gas and water customer metering and repairs and service to natural gas appliances.
