Communications
The Communications Division of the Kitchener Fire Department provides dispatching service to the following areas: City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Wellesley Township, Wilmot Township and Woolwich Township.

The Communications Division also provides alarm monitoring services to residents of the residents of Waterloo Region, through a program called Direct Detect.
