The City of Kitchener has put a Tag and Tow Bylaw in place which prohibits parking on a city street when a snowfall of more than 8 cm is forecast - a "snow event" - is declared. Vehicles impeding snow removal during "snow events" may be towed at the owners' expense and ticketed. Vehicles which are parked on the street but are not towed will also be ticketed.
