By-Law Enforcement
This section is responsible for the investigation and enforcement of municipal by-laws related to property standards, lot maintenance, discarded ice boxes/refrigerators, heat in rented dwellings, sidewalk snow removal, zoning, signs, fences, outdoor watering restrictions and noxious weeds.

This section is also responsible for the enforcement of the City's Traffic and Parking By-laws as well as the City's Noise By-laws. By-law Enforcement also operates a seasonal Trail bike program with officers that monitor the City's extensive trail and park systems.
