Committees Kitchener
City Council is
responsible for
policy and decision
making, monitoring
the operations and
performance
of the city, analyzing
and approving budgets
and determining
spending priorities.
In order to complete
their role, Council
meets regularly
to
discuss current
issues facing the
city and its residents – along
with regular day-to-day operational business -- and to make decisions
on those items based on what’s
best for the collective
city overall.
Kitchener City Council meets at 7 pm on alternate
Mondays, except for holidays, in the Council Chambers at City Hall at
200 King Street West. Meetings are open to the general public. Agendas
and minutes (minutes date back to 1992) from those meetings are available
to be viewed on-line, by clicking below on Agendas and Minutes. As well,
minutes for all of Council’s Advisory and Standing Committees are
also posted there, dating back anywhere from one year to a decade.
